Lindsay J. Fetters, a cherished mother, grandma, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, in South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 79. Born on May 1, 1946, in Melton Mowbray, England, Lindsay was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Joan (Franklin) Turrell. Her warm spirit and joyful presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Lindsay's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her passion for her work. She retired from Michiana Smiles, where she greeted patients with her radiant smile and kind words as a receptionist. Her colleagues and the patients she met over the years will fondly remember Lindsay for her professionalism, her pride in her work, and the genuine care she showed to everyone who walked through the door.
Known for her love of hosting, Lindsay was the heart of every gathering, especially at Christmas, her favorite time of the year. Her home was always filled with laughter, music, and the aroma of delicious food. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and cherished, creating memories that her family and friends will treasure forever.
Lindsay's role as a mother and grandmother was where she shone the brightest. Her son, Bradley (Jenna) Fetters, and her grandchildren, Abigail and Charlotte, were the lights of her life.
